Para Vessels

This project is a remake of a parametric skinning system, the initial application of which is a series of vases, to bowls, to plates. At the core of the vessels of everyday use are surface curvature and porosity, these become the only distinctions between the functional applications of these object.

farm

The first analysis of the sprawl farm typologies attempts to look into the regional market networks as well as local 'per farm' navigation methods. These initial investigations catalog similar underlying structures that have developed globally in the context of the farm. By reducing these tendencies as units with embedded properties, these elements are staged for future crossover which will attempt to exploit latent tendencies to maximize efficiency

becoming

A later phase of the dissipating man project. This early study is part of a continuing series of experiment into image generation and image feeding programs which are the base organizing systems of what is becoming a rapid generation testing tool free. Sounds ambiguous, it is, but it is becoming and soon will be.

farm

"farm" is a project which will be evaluating a wide range of topics which for the next year will be the primary focus of Neoarchaic. It will be ongoing research into agricultural methods, sub-urban aggregates and nodes, capitalist distribution models, and a variety of other topics centered around the emerging typology "sprawl"

An initial look into the feedback loops, boundaries and reappropriations in the life/use cycles of corn as relates to consumption and appropriation. The primary focus being on those forces which redirect or block usage.

The Dissipating Man

Developed as a tangent from a small component of an outside project, this sketch speaks to the reciprocity between the hand and the machine. Produced with a Wacom tablet by hand and fed into an authored image processing script the result is a simple statement, that which is lost in medium and machine may only be opportunity for unexpected beauty. While the sketch is primitive its properties are robust.

Made with systematic applications of readily available toolsets, future iterations will be generated via a pre-composed system that will be applied to a single object following identical methods. More to come...

3PLYSYSTEM

A slight deviation to something a bit more subtle, technique of construction and efficiency of data presentation. After spending a few minutes looking through IKEA instructions... and quickly abandoning them for common sense, composition of data seems much more relevant. Composing a drawing that informs the construction, use, and potentials of a design. As seems to be the growing theme of this page, this is just an early stage... more to come.
